Our family favorite. Wonderfully fresh fish and desserts. The banana cream pie, homemade ice cream cake and homemade individual fruit cobblers are to die for.

Your cooperation and helpful assistance in everything from planning our menu, setting up the room, serving our members and providing such abundant and delicious food resulted in comments such as “best luncheon ever!” You were a pleasure to work with and you made my job as chairperson for the luncheon easy and pleasant. A mainstay in Roslyn for over 50 years. For the old timers, part of the charm is that the decor never changes and the food is consistently excellent. Don’t miss the special house salad, which is a choice with your entree…no extra charge but extra delicious. Hot fudge is a must, even if you have to order the ice cream cake or sundae to put it on!
The Jolly Fisherman still reigns on Long Island as the quintessetial seafood restaurant. The fish is always fresh (no wonder the fisherman is jolly!) and the lobster is divine. The service is cordial and polite. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the seafood restaurants of the 50s and 60s – understated elegance. Try to get a window view overlooking the water for the best experience.
A pleasant seafood restaurant that has been a neighborhood icon for years. Good service, good food and a view. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Best value at lunch. Food is always great. Love the bread basket, the potato pancakes and the cobblers for dessert. Entrees are all excellent.
As a consumate complainer I have only one complaint. The appetizers are very tempting but the entree portions are so large I cannot order appetizers.We have always felt welcome.
Just wanted to compliment everyone at Jolly Fisherman. We had lunch there today and have been coming there for over 30 years for special occasions. The food is always the same – EXCELLENT! Love the new decor that you are working on in the dining room. Good to see my old friend Carmine (Bartender). Your cook and staff always make our dining experience seem like a special occasion. Keep up the good work – your restaurant is the best!
I had dinner last night and I have to say that it was amazing. The Chilean Sea Bass was the best I have ever had. My dinner parter was blown over after tasting it. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was wonderful. It is nice to know that there is a restaurant like this that still exists. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
